United Breweries Ltd has posted net profit of Rs 28.62 crore for the quarter ending December 2011 showing a four per cent year-on-year dip in profits (Rs 29.82 crore).
Sales stood at Rs 961 crore during the period compared with Rs 609.62 crore, a rise of almost 58 per cent. The figures for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, includes the nine-month results of MBIL (Millenium Beer Industries Ltd), UMBL (United Millenium Breweries Ltd), UBN (UB Nizam Breweries Pvt Ltd) and CBPL (Chennai Breweries Private Ltd), a release said.
