UST Global has acquired Atlanta-based Xpanxion, a global software services company.
The IT and IT services player has acquired Xpanxion’s professional services organisations in Atlanta and Pune as well as its rural technology centres in the US.
Xpanxion will maintain its name and, as a UST Global subsidiary, will continue to operate as a key player in the industry, a spokesman said.
Xpanxion’s current service offerings include cloud-based business application development, mobile application development, software testing services, and a full complement of technology and business consulting.
This acquisition brings UST Global over 50 new clients and 500 employees across six global locations.
Saurabh Ranjan, Managing Director, Global Operations, UST Global, said that through the acquisition, the company aimed to provide customers with cost-effective, secure, and collaborative solutions.
The acquisition will expand the delivery capabilities of both companies to better serve their current and future clients.
According to Paul Eurek, CEO of Xpanxion, the merger of professional services programmes will help both companies to harness and capitalise upon the successes and strengths of each other.
