UTC Building & Industrial Systems has appointed Gaurang Pandya as the President of its Indian operations. In his new position, Pandya will have the responsibility for leading UTC Building & Industrial Systems’ business in India, which includes leading brands such as Carrier, Otis, Edwards, Chubb and Kidde. He was previously the Managing Director for Carrier Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Limited in India. “Gaurang brings with him a rich experience of over 15 years working within United Technologies in a broad spectrum of leadership roles across India and Asia,” said Ross B Shuster, President, Asia, UTC Building & Industrial Systems, in a statement.
