VA Tech Wabag, which is into water and wastewater management business, has said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 533 crore during Q3 of this fiscal.
Some of these were repeat orders from customers like Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Durgapur Projects Ltd (DPL), Essar Group etc., the company said in its filing with the stock exchanges today.
There were also overseas orders valued at €22.2 million. The biggest domestic order was from DJB worth Rs 250 crore for building a 20 MGD sewage treatment plant in Delhi. While the EPC part of the project was worth Rs 170 crore, the balance was for operation & maintenance.
DPL has signed a contract for design and construction of total water management system worth Rs 50 crore at its plant in Durgapur. The overseas orders were from Turkey, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia.
The company said its consolidated order book stood at Rs 3,550 crore, 69 per cent of which was for work in India and the rest related to its overseas subsidiaries.
Apart from the firm order book, the company said it has framework contracts of Rs 1,330 crore and on receipt of advances or LCs, notice to proceeds or achieving financial closures, they would become part of the firm order book.
