Auto maker VE Commercial Vehicles yesterday reported a 37.1 per cent drop in November sales of Eicher branded products at 2,244 units.
The company, which is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 3,565 vehicles in the same month last year, it said in a statement.
Domestic sales stood at 1,928 units as compared to 3,418 units in November 2012, representing a drop of 43.6 per cent.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 316 units in November, 2013 against 147 units in the same month last year, representing a growth of 115 per cent.
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Ltd.
