Auto maker VE Commercial Vehicles has reported 18.75 per cent decline in total sales of Eicher branded products at 3,302 units for June 2013.
The company, which is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 4,064 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales stood at 3,090 units against 3,767 units, down 17.97 per cent, the company said in a statement.
Exports also went down by 28.61 per cent to 212 units from 297 units.
Sales of light commercial vehicles in the domestic market dipped by 19.58 per cent to 1,765 units during the month from 2,195 units in the year-ago period.
Heavy commercial vehicle sales dipped by 29.63 per cent to 368 units from 523 units.
