Auto maker VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 23.92 per cent decline in total sales of Eicher branded products to 3,001 units in October 2013.
The company, which is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 3,945 units in the same month of last year.
Domestic sales stood at 2,637 units in October 2013 as against 3,830 units in the year-ago period, down 31.14 per cent, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) said in a statement.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 364 units in October 2013 as compared to 115 units in the same month last year, the company added.
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Ltd.
