Venus Remedies today said its net profit rose by 1.73 per cent to Rs 11.7 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 11.5 crore for the same period last financial year, Venus Remedies said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the firm stood at Rs 96 crore for the second quarter, as against Rs 85.7 crore for the same period previous financial year.
