Versa Drives Private Limited, a Coimbatore-based company, today lunched its range of energy saving ceiling fans in Andhra Pradesh market and plans to offer them in major cities across the country in a phased manner.
The company calls these fans Superfans which are priced at a premium of about 25 to 35 per cent over conventional ceiling fans.
Addressing a press conference here, Sundar Muruganandhan, Managing Director of Versa Drives, said that these consume less power and provide better air delivery and payback the higher amount paid within few months.
The company is in the process of seeking three product patents for the technology that has been incorporated in making these fans.
These fans come with aluminium die-cast body and German bearings and are supported by electronic remote control regulators. They have built in overload protection providing overload protection. The company also has direct current mode fans, he said.
The company appointed Reckon Green as its distributor in Andhra Pradesh.
