Viceroy Hotels Ltd has posted a loss of Rs 1 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, against a loss of Rs 14.93 lakh for the corresponding quarter last year. The Hyderabad-based hospitality company registered sales of Rs 17.62 crore against Rs 18.30 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. For the financial year ended March 31, the company closed with a loss of Rs 3.35 crore against a loss of Rs 2.28 crore for the year before. The income for the year remained flat at Rs 73.86 crore against Rs 73.56 crore. The company was in news lately for deciding to divest its property located in Chennai and for investor Mr Rakesh Jhunjhunwala picking up its shares from the open market. The company shares closed the day's trade down 0.67 per cent at Rs 22.40.
