Vimta Labs Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 1.61 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.
In the corresponding quarter of the previous year, it incurred Rs 6.76 crore loss.
The revenue of the Hyderabad-based company grew by 7.4 per cent at Rs 28.53 crore (Rs 26.53 crore).
For the full year 2012-13, the net profit stood at Rs 4.21 crore. In the previous financial year, the loss was Rs 15.37 crore. The revenue too, had gone up from Rs 87.34 crore to Rs 109 crore.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of 60 paise per face value of Rs 2 each share for the financial year 2012-13 at its meeting held on Saturday. It is, however, subject to the approval of the bankers and members in their ensuing annual general meeting, the company informed the BSE.
Vimta Lab’s scrip closed at Rs 18.74 on Friday on the BSE after losing 0.58 per cent.
