Volkswagen Group India sold 60,850 cars from January to June 2012 as compared to 55,091 cars during the same time period last year, notching up overall growth of 10.5 per cent.
Of the group’s three brands, Audi grew by 42.8 per cent to touch 4,000 units, while Skoda grew 40.1 per cent to stand at 20,464 units. The VW brand, however, witnessed negative growth of 3.4 per cent with 36,386 units sold against 37,678 in the first-half of 2011.
