Europe’s largest car manufacturer Volkswagen has launched its new Cross Polo 1.2 MPI in India.
Powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 74 BHP and 110Nm of torque, the Polo 1.2 MPI comes with a 16.47 kmpl mileage, the company said in a statement.
“With the New Volkswagen Cross Polo, we will inject some excitement into the premium hatchback segment in India. With its rugged, dynamic styling, upmarket interiors and high levels of safety, we are sure the New Cross Polo will appeal to buyers who like a bit of sportiness and individuality in their cars,” said Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India.
Bookings of the New Cross Polo will commence from January 15. Ex-showroom Mumbai prices start at Rs 6.94 lakh.
