German car maker Volkswagen today launched a new variant of its sedan ‘Vento TSI’ in India, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new variant, which comes with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, will be on sale from today, Volkswagen said in a statement.
“With the new Vento TSI, Volkswagen takes the lead with producing cars that are high-tech, powerful and fuel-efficient. With a turbocharged petrol engine and 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, Vento TSI provides excellent performance and fuel economy,” Volkswagen Passenger Cars Managing Director Arvind Saxena said.
The sedan is also loaded with features as anti-lock brakes, an electronic stabilisation programme, hill-hold function, dual frontal airbags, 3-point seat-belts at the front and an electronic engine immobiliser with floating code.
