Volvo Auto India (VAI) said on Friday that it has opened a showroom and workshop in Kolkata. This marked the entry of Swedish luxury car maker’s entry into West Bengal and eastern India.
Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, said that the dealership network of the company would be increased to 20 by the end of this year from the current 14.
Apart from Kolkata, Volvo cars are now available through two dealers in Delhi and one each in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Surat and Gurgaon.
