Viewers in West Asia and North Africa will be able to watch Sun TV Network’s entertainment programme following a tie-up between the network and the US-based YuppTV.
YuppTV, an Over-The-Top (OTT) provider of South Asian content over Internet-enabled devices, will offer 10 channels in four languages from Sun Network.
These include Telugu (Gemini Movies and Gemini Comedy), Malayalam (Surya and Kiran), Tamil (Sun TV, KTV, Sun Music and Adithya TV) and Kannada (Udaya TV) programmes to the overseas audience, said a press release from Sun TV. YuppTV already offers over 200 channels in the South Asian region through partnerships with leading television networks.
Mahesh Kumar, President, Sun TV Network, said in the release, the partnership with YuppTV is part of the network’s plan to enhance it presence on digital networks and strengthen distribution worldwide through a variety of OTT platforms.
