Whirlpool of India posted a net profit of ₹35.6 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, up 44 per cent from ₹24.7 crore in the corresponding period last year. Total income grew by 6 per cent to ₹666.3 crore. Arvind Uppal, CMD, Whirlpool of India and President South Asia and Asia Pacific, Whirlpool Corporation, said: “We are pleased with the improvement in our profitability. Our strong focus on operational excellence and product innovation is starting to deliver results . We remain confident about the business results in the coming quarters.”
