Yamaha Motor India Ltd on Thursday inaugurated its technical school at the Don Bosco Technical School (DBTS), Liluah. The school is called Yamaha Technical School.
The move is a part of Yamaha’s CSR activities and it aims to provide training to underprivileged youth and those from the economically weaker sections of society, the company said in a release.
Youth will be imparted technical training and later employed across Yamaha dealerships as 2-wheeler technicians.
As a part of its CSR activities, Yamaha Motor India is looking to adopt Government technical institutes and partner “reputed NGOs” across India for launching Yamaha Technical Schools with Yamaha Technical Academy certification.
