YuppTV, over the top live TV and video on demand solutions provider, today launched a new live worldwide broadcasting service aimed at delivering video streaming services to all devices that can be connected to the internet.
This enables viewers not to miss out on any event happening anytime and anywhere across the world and can be broadcast to any internet-enabled device.
“With this device, you can, for example, broadcast a wedding ceremony happening in Hyderabad to your relatives based in the US in real time. They can view the broadcast on their smart TVs or any other devices connected to the internet,” Uday Reddy, CEO, told media persons here.
The company will be mainly targeting the expatriate community. “The service provides a medium for people to watch corporate events, sports events and weddings on their TV screen, which they cannot personally attend due to other commitments. Through this service, people living outside India will be able to share precious moments with their family and friends and vice-versa,” he explained.
YuppTV is owned by Global Takeoff Inc, which has its Indian headquarters in Hyderabad and global headquarters in Atlanta.
The company has also integrated social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter with the service, which would enable end users to send messages that will be displayed as scrolling on the TV screens.
