Basaveswar Engineering collage, Bagalkot students Akilesh Hiremath and Vinyas M have won the Hubli regional finals of TCS TechBytes 2011. Devrath N.D. and Rajan N.T. of GM Institute of Technology, Davangere, were the runners-up. The IT quiz programme was held at BVB College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli. The programme was organised by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the Board for IT Education Standards, an autonomous agency promoted by Government of Karnataka, in association with few other IT companies, for engineering students of all streams in Karnataka. –
