The State of Belgium and VFS Global have commenced their visa application services for Belgium in Kolkata by opening the Belgian Visa Application Centre.
The new application centre was recently inaugurated by Cecile Thoen, Consul of Belgium in New Delhi, according to a press statement.
The opening of the counter is expected to facilitate extension of visa services delivery to Eastern India.
The new initiative is in continuation to the decision of extending such services to six new locations across India, apart from the existing centres that are already operative at Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi.
“Catering to the growing demand of Belgium bound travellers in the region, this strategic move is aimed at offering new services, facilities and benefits to visa applicants,” the release said.
