The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Tiruchi Zone organised recently the fourth edition of a cricket tournament ‘Cricket for fellowship' in association with Tiruchi District Cricket Association, bringing together industry captains and employees.
The tournament saw 14 industries battle it out at the Saranathan College of Engineering. Cethar Vessels were the winner and the runner up was Bunge India. Mr Rangabashyam Captain, Cethar Ltd, was the man of the match and the man of the series was Mr Satish Babu of Bunge India.
Mr S. Ravichandran, Secretary, Saranathan College of Engineering, gave away the awards in a function held at the college.
Dr M.A. Maluk Principal, MAM College of Engineering, Mr T.V. Murali, Vice-Chairman, CII Tiruchi Zone, and Dr Gopalakrishnan, Principal, Saranathan College of Engineering were present, said the press release.
