CRI Pumps Pvt Ltd, which produces different varieties of pumps and motors, has bagged a contract to install pumps at the Eden Gardens Stadium here. The company will install around nine pumps to meet the demand for water for drinking as well as other purposes in the stadium.
According to a company release, the minimum water requirement in the stadium is around 1.4 lakh litres an hour. The newly-installed pumps will ensure minimum wastage of water and delivery of water at a constant pressure even when the stadium has full capacity, a company release said.
