India and China can have complementary business relations in sectors such as infrastructure and infrastructure equipments, according to Mr Richard Deng, Managing Director, Sany Heavy Industry Pvt Ltd, China.
Speaking on `India and China: A new Dynamic’’ at the Partnership Summit 2012 here on Thursday, Mr Deng said China had over 30 years of experience in development infrastructure.
With strong base in manufacturing and software respectively, China and India could be `economic complementaries’ he said.
Both countries could also focus on environment protection, low carbon emissions and other eco-friendly measures, he added.
Mr Sanjay Baru, Director, Geoeconomics & Strategy, International Institute for Strategic Studies, London said time had now come for India and China to focus on people to people relationship.
The bilateral business ties between the two nations had seen efflorescence during the last decade, he added.
Mr Ravi Bhoothalingam, Founder-Chairman, Manas Advisory, a Gurgaon-based management consultancy firm, said the potential for business collaboration in infrastructure, management consultancy, entertainment, biosciences and tourism was huge.
