The Finance Ministry has invited comments/suggestions from all stakeholders on the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (FSLRC) report. Suggestions on the report can be submitted until July 15 by e-mail ( feedback-fslrc@nic.in ) or through hard copy format to the FSLRC cell in Department of Economic Affairs. Budget 2011-12 had proposed the setting up of FSLRC to revamp financial sector laws to bring them in line with the requirements and expectations of the sector. Justice (Retd) B. N. Srikrishna was asked to head the FSLRC, comprising 10 experts from the fields of law, economics, finance, regulation and markets. The panel, which was set up in March 2011, submitted its report to Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in March this year.
