Corporation Bank has inaugurated its new premises of Thiruvananthapuram zonal office. A bank release said here that Mr V.S. Sivakumar, Kerala Minister for Transport and Devaswom, has inaugurated the new premises, in the presence of Mr B.R. Bhat, General Manager, of the bank. The Thiruvananthapuram zonal office has 37 branches from six districts of Kerala and Kochi zonal office has 42 branches from eight districts, the release added.
Mysore–Shirdi weekly train cancelled
South Western Railway in a release said it has cancelled weekly special trains between Mysore and Sai Nagar-Shirdi (Train Nos.06201/06202). SWR has to operate 15 special trains commencing July 25.
Freedom from pesticide campaign
Sresta Natural Bioproducts will launch a month long campaign – Freedom from pesticide by Mr Rajashekar Seelam, Managing Director of Sresta, and Mr Manjunath, MD, Lumieire, from July 26 at 11.30 a.m. at Rotary House of Friendship, Lavelle Road.
