Dell India plans to partner small and medium businesses (SMBs) in the Hubli region to design customised products to cater to the IT requirements of various industries. Mr Avik Rudra, senior product consultant of enterprise product management, SMB at Dell, told reporters that the partnership would be both for business and also for joint growth. Elaborating on the partnership, Mr Avik said that while the company would be providing the hardware platform, the SMBs would have to provide the applications developed by them.
Former UPASI president dead
P.G. Gurjer, former president of the United Planters' Association of Southern India (UPASI) and former president of Karnataka Planters' Association, has died. He was 91 years old.
