An Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) on food is scheduled to meet on March 17 to decide on the feasibility of providing legal entitlement of cheaper foodgrains to the poor.
“EGoM date is fixed for March 17 to discuss the proposed Food Security Bill,” a senior government official told PTI.
