The Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI), Gandhinagar, will have a new Director in Dr T. Harinarayana, at present chief scientist at the National Geophysical Research Institute in Hyderabad.
GERMI is a centre of excellence for industry learning set up to cater to the petroleum and allied energy sectors needs.
Dr Harinarayana has made significant contributions to mega projects related to exploration of hydrocarbons and geothermal energy.
