In the era of globalisation, the challenges are far greater for women entrepreneurs. To share common concerns and experiences, the Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE) is hosting its 12th Global Conference and exhibition on “Trade Liberalisation and its Global Impact on Women Entrepreneurs” from September 3 to 5, in the Capital.
The event will focus on challenges facing women-owned business and create a networking opportunity to bring rural and urban women entrepreneurs and village artisans together on an interactive platform, said an FIWE release. More than 800 delegates are expected to attend from all over the world, it added.
“Today, we have more women talking about building businesses rather than earning a supplementary income for the household. We provide business counselling, networking opportunities and skill development programmes for women,’ said Rajni Aggarwal, President, FIWE.
She said the event will connect female founders, CEOs and leaders of high-growth businesses in developing markets to share best practices and challenges.
