The Government has now taken a historic step of inviting online feedback from public on how it should go about tackling the menace of black money.
A new email ID — >bm-feedback@nic.in has been created to which people can send in their suggestions, inputs and responses on the subject of black money, a Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) official said.
The email account will be continuously monitored and the online comments would be placed before the CBDT appointed high-level committee on black money.
The nine-member committee headed by CBDT Chairman was set up to examine ways to strengthen laws to curb the generation of black money in India, its illegal transfer abroad and its recovery.
The committee, which is required to submit report in six months, has also been asked to look into the aspect of declaring wealth generated illegally as national assets.
