Kassia to unveil Rs 1.4 crore new administrative block

Karnataka State Small Industries Association (Kassia) will inaugurate new administrative block as part of its Founder's Day Celebration on June 13. Addressing a press conference, Mr Prakash N. Raikar, President of the association, said the administrative block, spread over 9,000 sq. ft, has been built at a cost of Rs 1.40 crore. The facility, located on the second floor of the Kassia Udyog Bhavan, has a lounge, administrative office, discussion rooms, a 125-seat capacity board room-cum-mini conference hall, annexed with pantry and dining hall. Chambers for office bearers, 10 modular cubicles, e-library and video conferencing has also been added. The building is energy-efficient with LED and CFL Lights, besides natural light, said Mr Raikar. The Karnataka Chief Minister, Mr D.V. Sadananda Gowda, will be inaugurating the Kassia new administrative block.
