Kerala Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron) has won an order of Rs 1 crore from Doosan, a South Korea-based power systems developer. The order is for supply of pneumatic actuators for a thermal power plant at Sabarmathi that Doosan's Indian subsidiary, Doosan Power Systems India, is setting up. The pneumatic actuators will be manufactured at the Keltron Control plant at Aroor in Alappuzha district. Actuators from here are already being used by major boiler manufacturers such as BHEL, Thermax, Alstom, ABB and IJT, an official spokesman said here. Keltron is currently servicing orders placed with it worth Rs 12 crore by these players.
