Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is to visit Russia from October 20-22.
He will attend the 14th India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow and then proceed to China for an official visit from October 22-24, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Wednesday.
During his visit to Russia, the Prime Minister will hold talks with President Putin to advance India's special and privileged strategic partnership with the Russian Federation, the statement added.
The Indian Prime Minister is visiting China at the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang. The Prime Ministers will hold discussions on bilateral, regional and global issues with a view to strengthening the partnership between the two countries. Manmohan Singh will also meet President Xi Jinping and National People’s Congress Chairman Zhang Dejiang."
