Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCC) has registered a lower consolidated net profit of Rs 52.11 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010 against Rs 55.80 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Its revenue was higher at Rs 1,599 crore against Rs 1,466 crore during the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a growth of 9 per cent.
The company EPS was Rs 2.03 against Rs 2.17. On a standalone basis, the company closed with a net profit of Rs. 40.43 crore against Rs. 47.86 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. The revenue was up at Rs 1,338 crore (including other income) against Rs 1,188 crore for the corresponding quarter. The Managing Director of Nagarjuna Construction Company, Mr A. Ranga Raju, in a statement said the company has secured orders aggregating Rs 6,236 crore with the company having an order book of Rs 17,269 crore as of December 2010. For the nine months, the company registered a net profit of Rs 171.82 crore (Rs 150.38 crore) and revenue of Rs 4,516 crore (Rs 4,097 crore).
