A clear picture on how to tackle the various HR issues which have cropped up after the merger of Air India and Indian is expected by the first week of March.
This follows the Ministry of Civil Aviation setting a deadline of first week of March for the newly set up three-member committee to examine the recommendations of the Justice Dharamadhikari Committee report.
The newly constituted committee includes the Joint Secretary Ministry of Civil Aviation, Mr Prashant Sukul, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Mr A.K. Sinha, and Joint Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises and, Director (HR), IFFCO, Mr R.P.Singh, as an outside expert. The committee has also been asked to give the schedule of implementation of the recommendations of the Justice Dharmadhikari Committee.
The Justice Dharmadhikari Committee was formed to examine the principles of integration across various cadres and determination of level and seniority, examine the principles of pay/wage rationalisation and restructuring between all the employees of erstwhile airline and also suggest harmonised working of various categories of employees of erstwhile airlines.
