Alva’s Education Foundation, which will conduct a job fair on May 12 and 13, has begun pre-placement training for students.
A press release said here that the pre-placement training includes technical training like C, C++, Java, Linux and Android. The training also focuses on other areas such as aptitude training, selling and telemarketing skills, English grammar, customer support, resume writing, group discussion, corporate etiquette and mock Interviews.
Nearly 200 companies will participate in the placement drive – Alva’s Pragati – at Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district on May 12-13. It said that nearly 25,000 students from various colleges in the region are likely to participate in the placement drive.
