State Bank of Mysore (SBM) has come forward to facilitate funding and upgradation of foundry SMEs in Belgaum. Speaking at a meet on “5S and Kaizen” for the foundry and automotive sectors sponsored by the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI), TUV SUD Asia and FKCCI here on Wednesday, Mr K Shankar, chief manager, SBM, said the Udyambag branch has funded 35 foundries to the tune of Rs 41 crore. The BCCI president, Mr Jaideep Siddannavar, welcomed the gathering and secretary, Mr Mallikarjun Jagajampi, proposed a vote of thanks.
