The SNIST-Vaughn Institute of Aeronautics and Technology, Hyderabad has registered about 70 per cent placements for its graduate students this year.
The students who completed B.S. in Electronics Engineering and Technology (Avionics) and airline/airport management could secure salaries in the range of Rs 4.5-6 lakh a year, Dr P. Narasimha Reddy, Executive Director, Srinidhi Instiute of Science and Technology, said.
Speaking to newspersons after the second graduation ceremony of about 100 students here on Wednesday, he said the placement prospects generally improve from the third batch which commenced this year.
The jobs were offered by many companies including Tata Power, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell Technologies, Cognizant, Infotech and Air India, among others.
Mr John C Fitzpatric, President, Vaughn College, US said the collaboration with Srindihi was very fruitful.
