Sovereign bonds still on cards: FinMin

The Finance Ministry has clarified that all options on sovereign bond issue are on the table. This statement has come after market buzz that said that the Government was no longer contemplating a Sovereign Bond Issue. Terming this as baseless, the Ministry said that all options are on the table and are being examined from time to time. Steps will be taken by the Government at the appropriate time, it added.
