The students need to rise against prejudices and carve a niche for themselves in the society, according to Dr Abid Hussain, Chancellor, Icfai Foundation of Higher Education (IFHE).
Delivering the convocation address at IFHE at its campus at Dontapally near here, the distinguished diplomat said the students should be thinkers and question the beliefs and try to reason them.
“We also need to be conscious of our actions and what we do. We need to be creative, imaginative and Dream Big. One needs to dig deep into the future as far as the human eye can see,'' he added.
In his welcome address, Dr Mahender Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, IFHE, said higher education had made a significant contribution to the economic and social changes in the past.
The private participation in education was being actively encouraged by the Government and IFHE has already made a ‘difference', he added.
