Co-optex, the apex body of the Tamil Nadu handloom sector, expects revenues of Rs 5 crore from the ongoing National Handloom Exhibition in the city. The exhibition, which began on February 10, has so far garnered Rs 1.13 crore. It ends on March 5. Spread over 1,500 sq. ft, the fair showcases fabrics from across the country. It is expected to attract over 5 lakh visitors.
