The Rubber Board will organise training in the manufacture of latex-based products from November 14-18 and dry rubber-based products from November 21-30 at the Rubber Training Institute, Kottayam. The course content for training in latex-based product making includes latex collection, preservation, concentration and compounding; product designing; production of rubber band, gloves, foam rubber, adhesives and balloons and quality control aspects. The course content for training in dry rubber-based product making includes natural and synthetic rubber; compounding; moulded, extruded and calendered goods; process control and vulcanisates testing; production, planning and control. The medium of instruction is English.
Training fees
The fee for training in latex-based product making is Rs 1,750.00 and for dry rubber-based product making, Rs 2,400.00. For residential training, Rs 125.00 will be charged extra per day per participant. SC/ST candidates will be given fifty per cent concession in fee on production of caste certificate.
The payment may be made by money order or demand draft drawn in favour of Director (Training), Rubber Board payable at Kottayam. Application on white paper, along with the fee, may be forwarded to Director (Training), Rubber Training Institute, Rubber Board PO, Kottayam - 686 009.
The fee can also be paid direct to Account No. 1450300184 of Central Bank of India (IFSC Code - CBIN 0010955).
