Two Indians in Yale's World Fellow programme

Two Indians are among 16 individuals selected by Yale University for its World Fellows Programme for 2012. This takes the total number of World Fellows from India to 11.

Of the 79 countries represented since 2002, India and the UK have emerged as leaders with 11 fellows each. The fellows selected from India this year are Mr Ayush Chauhan and Ms Ruchi Yadav.

Mr Chauhan is co-founder and Managing Director of Quicksand, a multi-disciplinary design and innovation consultancy, with clients such as Google and the Gates Foundation.

He is an IIM-Ahmedabad graduate with experience in brand and product management. Ms Yadav, Senior Programme Officer with The Hunger Project, has an advertising background and is also an advocate of human and gender rights.
