Aachi to expand footprint to overseas markets

After coming out with Indian masala varieties for domestic consumption, Aachi Group of Companies is now expanding its international footprint with biriyani masala for specific overseas customers.

AD Padmasingh Isaac, Founder and Chairman, told BusinessLine : “We have so far developed 22 biriyani masalas in international flavours such as African, Persian, Indonesian and European in our Research & Development Centre. There are more in the offing.”

These flavours, however, are not sold in retail outlets in India, and are prepared exclusively for people from the select regions.

The company is also experimenting with Quick Service Restaurant through Aachi Kitchen. “We piloted four outlets in Chennai that serve non-vegetarian rice items last year and we are planning to launch a vegetarian outlet soon,” he said.
