The market opened steady but improved later on fresh buying and short covering as sellers stayed back following the moderate gains on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
December futures firmed up to ₹115.70 (114.05), January to ₹114.87 (112.92) and February to ₹115.55 (113.33) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) increased to ₹98.91 (96.52) a kg at Bangkok. December futures were at ¥183.6 (₹97.40) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 114.50 (113.50); RSS-5: 109 (108); Ungraded: 96 (94); ISNR 20: 95 (95) and Latex 60%: 79 (78).
