Mr R. Amalorpavanathan has taken charge as the Chief General Manager, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard), Kerala.
Mr Amalorpavanathan has been the Principal of National Bank Staff Training College, Lucknow, till now.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Agriculture) and a post-graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He also has a Masters in Development Management from Asian Institute of Management, Manila.
A Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineers (India), he is also a Chartered Associate in Banking from Indian Institute of Banking and Finance.
Mr Amalorpavanathan has experience in wide-ranging activities of agriculture-related project preparation, appraisal and financing.
He has also handled professional consulting assignments in strategic business planning, turnaround strategies and business process re-engineering.
