G.J. Ancheril has been elected the President and Peter Mathias the Vice-President of the United Planters’ Association of Southern India (Upasi) for 2012-13. Ancheril is the director of A.V. George group of companies, Kottayam, having interest in tea and rubber. Peter Mathias is the Managing Partner of Kelagur Tea, Coffee and Spices Plantation in Chikmagalur district, Karnataka.
