Award for Harrison Malayalam unit

Kumbazha Estate Centrifuge Latex Factory of Harrisons Malayalam Ltd has bagged the Kerala State Pollution Control Board’s award for the third consecutive year for its sustained efforts in controlling pollution and environment protection. Kumbazha factory and other tea factories of HML are also the recipients of EHS Award 2013-14. HML Tea estates have received various national and International accreditations such as ISO, Trustea, Rainforest Alliance, TGLIA, UTZ and Ethical Tea Partnership for its sustainable efforts for conservation and protection of environment. This is a continued acknowledgement of HML’s commitment towards sustainability initiatives in its tea and rubber operations, said N Dharmaraj, Whole Time Director and Chief Executive.
