Downtrend in pulse seeds and pulses continuing for the past few days ended with monsoon playing a spoilsport. Amid slack arrival, limited queries from the millers and delay in next spell of monsoon rains, masur (bold) in Indore mandis ruled firm at ₹6,500 a quintal, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹6,200. Masur dal (medium) went for ₹7,400-7,600, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹7,700-7,800. Slack arrival and declining stock also lifted urad with urad (bold) rising to ₹7,400-7,500 (up ₹100), while urad (medium) ruled at ₹6,500-6,700. Urad dal (medium) was at ₹8,100-8,600, urad dal (bold) at ₹8,700-8,800, while urad mongar ruled at ₹10,400-600. Moong (bold) rose to ₹6,500-6,800 (up ₹500 in the past three days), while moong (medium) rose to ₹6,000-6,200 (up ₹200). Moong dal (medium) traded at ₹7,300-7,400, moong dal (bold) ₹7,700-7,800, while moong mongar declined to ₹7,700-8,000 a quintal respectively.
